Highnote Named One of Inman’s 9 Real Estate Tech Products That Lit Up 2020

August 20, 2025
Discover why HighNote was recognized by Inman as one of 2020’s standout real estate technology products, transforming how agents present and share content.

Inman’s annual roundup of real estate technology highlights the products that truly stand out in an industry full of innovation. In 2020, one of the names on that list was Highnote, a platform built to transform the way real estate professionals present and share their marketing materials.

To see Inman recognize Highnote so early on confirmed what I’ve always known: agents need a better way to present themselves and their work. Highnote was built to give real estate professionals a simple, beautiful platform to showcase listings, team resumes, and marketing content—all from one link designed to impress.

Inman is known for spotting the tools that push our industry forward, so being recognized there says a lot.

What Highnote Brings to Real Estate Professionals

Highnote started with a simple idea: make it effortless for agents to share their value in a way that feels modern and professional. Instead of sending clients a cluttered folder of PDFs, videos, and links, Highnote gives agents one sleek destination where everything is beautifully organized.

With Highnote, you can:

  • Upload video tours, brochures, bios, and any other collateral.
  • Customize the look and feel so it matches your brand.
  • Share everything through a single, easy-to-remember URL.

It’s more than a file-sharing tool—it’s a presentation platform built specifically for the way real estate agents work. I wanted to give agents the ability to tell their story and build trust before ever stepping into a room, and that’s exactly what Highnote delivers.

Why Inman’s Recognition Matters

Being featured by Inman as one of the 9 new real estate technology products that lit up 2020 was a huge milestone for Highnote. Inman doesn’t hand out recognition lightly—their editors and readers pay close attention to what actually helps agents win more business and stand out in a competitive market.

For me, this recognition validated what we’ve been working toward since day one: creating a tool that makes agents’ lives easier while elevating their brand. Highnote wasn’t designed as a “nice-to-have.” It was built to solve a real problem I experienced firsthand as a top producer—how to present yourself and your work in a way that’s both professional and simple for clients to engage with.

When Inman shines a spotlight on a product, it tells the industry that this is something worth paying attention to. And for Highnote, it signaled that we were on the right track.

The Story Behind Highnote

Before founding Highnote, I spent years as a real estate agent and eventually became a top producer at Climb Real Estate in San Francisco. During that time, I saw firsthand how difficult it was to present information to clients in a way that felt polished and easy to digest. Agents were piecing together presentations with PDFs, email attachments, and links—often leaving clients overwhelmed or unimpressed.

I knew there had to be a better way. That frustration turned into inspiration, and the idea for Highnote was born. I wanted to create a platform that would let agents package their hard work into a single, seamless experience. No clunky attachments, no messy back-and-forth—just one professional link that reflects the effort and quality agents put into every deal.

Highnote came out of my own journey as an agent, built from the challenges I faced daily. It’s a product designed by someone who’s been in the trenches and understands exactly what agents need.

Looking Ahead

Being named by Inman as one of the 9 new real estate technology products that lit up 2020 was more than just an honor—it was a sign that Highnote is filling a real need in the industry. That recognition gave us momentum, but it also raised the bar for what we want to deliver next.

My vision for Highnote has always been bigger than solving the presentation problem. I want to empower agents with tools that help them win more business, strengthen client relationships, and showcase their value in ways that stand out. Inman’s acknowledgment confirmed we’re on the right path, and it motivates us to keep innovating so agents everywhere can present with confidence and ease.

2020 was just the beginning. Highnote’s story is still being written in 2025, and I couldn’t be more excited for what comes next.
