Hundreds of REALTORS® recently met in Washington, D.C., for the 2023 National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Meetings. It was a productive week of exciting events, including the Real Estate Trade Expo, the REALTOR® National Block Party, and other NAR talks and events.
Highnote is part of Second Century Ventures’ 2023 REACH class, and we played an active role in this week’s events. We had a trade show booth with other NAR REACH companies at the Real Estate Trade Expo, where our founder Mark Choey and other Highnote members met with potential partners, new leads, and customers.
Another highlight of the weeklong event was the REALTOR® National Block Party, where REALTORS® enjoyed a night out of fun, food, and drinks at Washington Nationals Park with elected officials. Here, they discussed industry hot topics and met with other REALTORS® from all over the country. Mark had a great time swinging in the batting cage and throwing pitches from the bullpen.
On Tuesday, May 10, the Emerging Business Issues & Technology Forum featured insightful talks and presentations by various tech leaders in the field, including our very own founder. Mark spoke to a packed venue about how crucial it is to streamline building presentations that can help real estate agents maximize their time and effort.
“Agents need great presentations, and they need them fast. An effective presentation is the lifeblood of all great real estate agents,” Mark shared during his talk.
Talking about how to easily build presentations using Highnote, he also said, “Highnote can help you save time, stand out, and achieve success, as it has done for so many other real estate and sales professionals,” he also said. The talk was a huge success, and attendees also learned about other emerging tech platforms in real estate.
The Highnote team also enjoyed the NAR Reach party at SPIN, a unique ping pong party location, and attended a memorable dinner with NAR Reach mentors at Succotash, a delicious fusion restaurant in downtown DC. The team also made an appearance at the NAR Young Professionals Network, or YPN, party on Sunday night to wrap up the weeklong event.
Simply put, the 2023 National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Meetings was a huge success for everyone who attended, including Highnote. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with many happy customers and meet new ones.
